Currently, I am regenerating the rainforest on my land at Springbrook behind the Gold Coast. It is very satisfying to be able to replant what has been lost to clearing through the indiscriminate development that occurs around Australia and the world. I am passionate about our natural environment and the inhabiting animals that need this home for their survival.

Good practice when feeding wild birds

With the careful selection of bird attracting plants to create a suitable habitat on our balconies and in our backyards, as well as adopting the correct feeding practices,  we can do a lot to help the wildlife in our area.

I am working with Michelle Plant from Wildlife Interactions to select bird attracting plants for gardens both on balconies and in backyards, that are suited to the local birdlife. This can bring joy to the homeowner both with the regular visitation from these birds and the knowledge that they are aiding the health and prosperity of wildlife in their own neighborhood.
